Warranty + Registration

Coverage applies to the original end-use purchaser only and is non-transferable. It lasts for as long as the original purchaser owns the knife. Coverage begins on the date of original purchase. Proof of purchase from Bastion Collective or an authorized retailer may be required.

Service is repair-first. Because the Founder's Edition is limited to 510 serialized units, we cannot guarantee replacement with the same serial number, finish, or configuration. If a covered defect cannot be repaired in a commercially reasonable manner, we may offer a comparable replacement if available, store credit, or a refund up to the original purchase price paid.

• Normal wear and tear, including edge dulling, sharpening, and routine edge maintenance.
• Cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, finish or coating wear, patina, and discoloration.
• Corrosion, rust, staining, or pitting from moisture, sweat, salt, acids, solvents, improper storage, or lack of maintenance. Premium stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, not corrosion-proof.
• Damage from impact, twisting, prying, chopping, batoning, hammering, or use as a screwdriver, pry bar, chisel, or lever.
• Damage from improper or powered sharpening, grinding, heat exposure, refinishing, engraving, or coating.
• Damage from disassembly, modification, aftermarket parts, or unauthorized repair.
• Accident, abuse, neglect, improper storage, fire, flood, theft, or loss.
• Products with removed, altered, or unreadable serial numbers.

Inspect your knife promptly on delivery. Report visible shipping damage, cosmetic issues, or order-condition issues within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the knife, packaging, and shipping materials.

• Oil. Light synthetic oil on the pivot seasonally.
• Clean. Wipe dry after use. Avoid harsh solvents. Clean and dry promptly after exposure to moisture, sweat, salt, or food acids.
• Sharpen. Match the factory edge. Strop to finish.
• Use correctly. Use as a cutting tool only. Do not pry, twist, strike, modify, or disassemble.

The Bastion No. 01 is a sharp cutting tool. Keep it away from children. Do not use it while impaired, as a weapon, or for any unlawful purpose. Discontinue use if the knife appears damaged, loose, or unsafe. The purchaser is responsible for knowing and following all laws on purchase, possession, carry, transport, storage, resale, and use. We do not warrant that this knife is legal in any specific jurisdiction.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, implied warranties are limited to the duration of this Limited Warranty, and total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price paid. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Each Bastion No. 01 Founder's Edition carries a serialized record. The registry connects each knife to its owner, finish, unit number, and service history.
